An ecologist and development professional with over 20 years of work experience across a spectrum of sectors straddling the rural and urban domains. Mr. Tiwari joined ICLEI at its South Asia office in 2010 and developed its urban resilience program. In January 2017 he joined the World Secretariat where he leads the Global Projects team. Among others, he currently manages and supports the implementation of five International Climate Initiative (IKI) funded projects covering topics such as mainstreaming biodiversity in urban areas, transport, and low carbon development.

Frank Lange holds a degree in industrial engineering and has been Managing Director of VFF and the quality control association for windows, façades and doors since the beginning of 2019. After completing his studies at the Technical University of Braunschweig, Lange worked for Lanco Lange Fenster- und Fassadenbau GmbH in Göttingen until 2010 as an authorised signatory, technical manager and sales manager. Lange then became self-employed and, as managing partner, founded the project and consulting company Frami GmbH in Göttingen. After the sale of Frami GmbH, Lange was authorised signatory and overall head of the Leinefelde branch of Seufert Niklaus GmbH from 2015 onwards.

Dr. Bernd Murschel studied agricultural sciences and received his doctorate in soil physics. He was a lecturer and self-employed environmental consultant. He has been a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament since 2006 and represents the constituency of Leonberg-Herrenberg. In the current legislature, he acts as environmental policy spokesman for the Greens’ parliamentary group.

Founder and shareholder of the louvre window manufacturer EuroLam
Ernst Hommer was born in Koblenz, where he grew up in his parents' blacksmith shop. Immediately after the wall came down, he settled in Thuringia and worked as a plant manager in a façade company. In 1997 he founded EuroLam GmbH. The 50 employees now supply louvre window systems all over the world. With the "CityLam", Ernst Hommer developed a wall-mounted green façade system that can contribute to positive climate effects in the cities.

Nina Riewe is currently in charge of projects in Nürtingen, Salach, Sindelfingen and Stuttgart, including conversion of (previously) monofunctionally used areas, transformation of inner-city neighbourhoods and (communal) living. She also teaches at the Institute for European Ethnology, Vienna, and at the Urban Design teaching and research programme in Hamburg.

Professorship Urban Water Management Bauhaus University Weimar
Prof. Dr. Londong teaches civil engineering, environmental engineering, water and environmental management. His main research topics are: innovative sanitation concepts, resource use, adaptation of water and wastewater infrastructure for climate change and demographic change, removal of trace elements. Prof. Dr. Londong is deputy chairman of the DWA Technical Committee KA-1 "Innovative Sanitation Systems" and member of the board of the Institute for Infrastructure Solutions (b.is) of the Bauhaus University Weimar.
